I'm attempting to use my meagre (read: severely lacking) soccer skills to raise some money for Right to Play amidst all this World Cup Football Madness...

But my footie-finesse won't get me anywhere without your help.

The NXNE Put the Boot in game is this Sunday at BMO field, click right here to donate a few dollars to Right to Play and help me reach my goal... I'm matching every donation dollar for dollar!!

Watch this new commercial from Right to Play...

::DUISBURG... WORLDCUP 2010::

World Cup season 2010 is now over... I've raced 4 regattas over 5 weekends in a row so I am exhausted.  My fatigue showed a little bit in my final race today, the K1 500m, usually my strongest event I just couldn't get off the line today.  BIG CONGRATS to Angus Mortimer for finishing his World Cup campaign strong, keeping Canada on the Podium with his first ever World Cup Podium today, with a Bronze in the 500m.  Nice Work Goose!!

I finish the 2010 World Cup season with 6 medals... 2 Gold (Szeged 500m, 5000m), 3 Silver (Vichy 500m, Szeged 1000m, Duisburg 1000m) and 1 Bronze (Vichy 1000m).  The goal of this trip was to simply race hard and identify weaknesses with a focus on the World Champions in August, and of course secure my spot for the World Championships.  I feel great about my performances, and I'm stoked for Team Canada as we've had so many great performances over the past few weeks here in Europe.

I can't wait to get home tomorrow... it's been a while!
